Giampiero leads Interprogetti,
bringing structural engineering expertise to the direction of the practice and to the development of complex public
and private projects.
A career spanning buildings and infrastructure, from structural design to construction and technical assessment.
Between 1985 and 1987, Giampiero worked at Weidlinger Associates in New York, contributing to the structural design of the US Embassies in Damascus and Nicosia.
Since 1987, his professional practice has covered public and private projects across transport, healthcare, culture, industry and the built heritage.
His experience includes the Napoli–Bari high-speed railway, the completion of the Naples Business District, Regium Waterfront in Reggio Calabria, the Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium in Ravello and the tunnel link between Pozzuoli Port and the Naples ring road.
Alongside design and construction supervision, he has served as the client’s project manager for the new CE.INGE. genetic engineering centre in Naples. He has also carried out structural acceptance testing and technical-administrative inspections for organisations including CIRA, ENEL and Mostra d’Oltremare.
